Characteristics

IP enclosures protection indexes

Indicates the degree of mechanical insulation of the motor body.
1st figure indicating level of protection against the penetration of solid bodies.
2nd figure: indicating degree to which the motor is waterproof

Duty cycle ratings

S1 Continuous duty. The motor works at costant load for enough time to reach temperature equilibrium.
S2 Short time duty. The motor works at a costant load, but not long enough to reach temperature equilibrium, and the rest periods are long enough for the motor to reach ambient temperature.
S3 Intermittent periodic duty. Sequential, identical run and rest cycles with constant load. Temperature equilibrium is never reached. Starting current has little effect on temperature rise.
S4 Intermittent periodic duty with starting. Sequential identical start, run and rest cycles with costant load. Temperature equilibrium is not reached, but starting current affects temperature rise.
S5 Intermittent periodic duty with electric braking. Sequential, identical cycles of starting, running at costant load, electric braking and rest. Temperature equilibrium is not reached.
S6 Continuous operation with intermittent load. Sequential, identical cycles of running with constant load and running with no load. No rest periods.
S7 Continuous operation with eletric braking. Sequential, identical cycles of starting, running at costant load and electric breaking. No rest periods.
S8 Continuous operation with periodic chankges in load and speed. Sequential, identical, duty cycles of start, run at costant load and given speed, then run at other constant loads and speeds. No rest periods.

Micro Encoder MEC22 HR

The MEC22 HR is a high resolution optical hollow shaft encoder that can be fixed quickly and easily on different sizes of motor shafts. The encoder provides two square wave outputs in quadrature (90 degrees phase shifted) for counting and direction information and one index channel (one pulse per revolution).
The resolution of the encoder is determined by the number of counts per revolution(CPR). Resolution up to 2048 CPR. Power supply and signals are provided by a 5 pin Molex connector.

Micro Encoder MEM22

The MEM 22 is a magnetic incremental encoder. He is a reliable low cost hollow shaft encoder that can be fixed quickly and easily on different sizes of motor shafts.
The encoder MEM22 is designed for applications where rough environments, high vibrations and low temperature are the topics to meet.
The power supply is selectable in a wide voltage range 5V up to 30V. Resolution up to 1024 CPR.
Power supply and signals are provided by a 6 pin Molex connector.
